    ABOUT FAIRYTAIL FOREST

    A family of Boxer people

A small, family-run boutique breeder in the Blue Mountains, obsessively focused on health and raising Boxers who are, first and foremost, part of the family.

    OUR STORY

    It started with Wellington

We welcomed our first Boxer — Wellington — into our family in 2005. He was a clown with too much love to give, boisterous, and full of potential to become a handful if he didn't find his purpose. He did: in 2010, Wellington became Urban Search and Rescue's first ever Boxer, and later their canine team leader. That was the start of a lifetime of love and loyalty to the breed.

Today we share our home with six Boxers — two pets, Winston and Princess, and four “Queens” spanning three generations of Fairytail Boxers: grandmother Molly Weasley, her daughters Fleur Delacour and Whomping Willow, and Fleur's first daughter, Professor McGonagall. We're based in the Blue Mountains — Graeme, Leigh, our daughter Boleyn, and a tribe of Bengal cats round out the family.

    WHAT SETS US APART

Built on Purpose, Passion & Heart

    Precision Breeding, Proven Health

We're obsessively, scientifically focused on health. Every breeding dog is DNA tested for inherited conditions, heart screened, and health checked routinely — either owned by us or part of another registered, ethical breeding program. Every pairing is chosen with intention, to strengthen bloodlines, health, body composition, and the elegant American-style type we breed for.

    Pets First

We breed for pets, not for the show ring. We do occasionally show — it keeps us connected to the wider Boxer community and gives us honest feedback on type — but that's not the point of what we do. The point is a confident, affectionate, well-socialised dog who becomes the best part of somebody's family.

Purpose: Search and Rescue, Agility, or Simply Family

A Boxer is at their best when they know their purpose. For Wellington, that was Urban Search and Rescue. For Molly, it's agility partnership. For most of our puppies, purpose is simpler and no less important: being someone's best friend, running partner, or a child's first dog.

    Raised Alongside the Bengals

Our Boxer puppies grow up around our Bengal cats and kittens too — teasing, taunting, occasionally being climbed on by an overenthusiastic puppy. It's a genuine part of how we socialise every litter, and it means our puppies settle into multi-pet homes with ease.
